This morning I managed to download Windows 7 Beta and just started installing it now and my wife has insisted that I do a write up.
So far the install looks just like Windows Vista and Windows 2008 Server, 20 or so minutes later the install finished.
I installed the OS in a VM on Virtual PC and gave it 1gig of ram which seems to be running fine. Over all the look and feel is the same as Vista but this is the beta and there will be bugs which hopefully will get sorted out over the next couple of months. It has been about 3 hours now and the OS is running well I have installed last FM, MS Office 2007, Windows Live applications and Netop which gave me problems on Windows Vista, the only application that still gives me problems is MaxiVista I really do hope they release a newer Version soon.
Just installed GTalk which works, as well as FlashGet tomorrow i will play some more and see how the OS is running, but that is all for today.
